Digital marketing company in Iraq: Baghdad, Basra and Erbil

SADUQ is a company that runs ads and builds sales pages for cash-on-delivery stores. We work with Iraqi store owners online from our base in Giza, with no office in Iraq. Selling here starts with neither a card nor an address: cash is the default, and without standard addresses, a phone number and a nearby landmark drive delivery. So our plan starts from the order form.

The order form is where profit is decided

  • No standard addresses: the form asks for governorate, area, landmark and a valid phone number.
  • Failed delivery: one tool vendor estimates 15–25%. It is directional, but enough to make confirmation part of the profit calculation.
  • Cash cycle: the same source reports remittance in 7–14 days, which affects how fast ad budget can grow.
  • Erbil is a separate logistics zone: the same source gives next day in Baghdad and 2–3 days in Basra and Erbil.

A very large TikTok audience

DataReportal's 2026 figures show TikTok at 40.1M (18+), YouTube 24.7M, Instagram 21.5M, Facebook 20.8M and Snapchat 19.3M. Reach alone does not make an order profitable; we measure delivered, paid orders.

Wallets exist, Shopify needs an extra step

  • ZainCash has over 1M users and 35M+ transactions in 2024; SuperQi and FIB are also active, with 17 licensed payment providers
  • A tool vendor reports no native ZainCash or QiCard on Shopify, so it goes through a third-party gateway or redirect
  • Shopify Payments and Stripe are not available to a business based in Iraq, though the store itself is

What we learned about COD in Egypt

For a hair-care COD brand in Egypt, we removed the cart entirely: 4,220 orders and EGP 3.64M in a month, a 3.14% conversion rate, and lost orders down 21.7%. The market differs, but a shorter path to the order is what we test first.

Price

A fixed monthly fee plus a percentage of sales, set after reviewing margin and ad spend. Our published Gulf pricing starts at about USD 600 a month plus 1–3%, separate from the ad budget itself.

Where these numbers come from

Result figures on this page come from accounts we actually run in the Gulf and Egypt, labelled with their real location. We have no client or case study in Iraq yet, so they do not indicate an expected result there.

Market figures come from published sources, and platform audience numbers are ad reach, not active users. Brand names are withheld under NDA unless published with the owner's approval.
