Digital marketing company in Syria and Damascus: checks before promises

SADUQ is an ads and store company based in Giza, Egypt, with no office or client in Syria. Shopify's official page still lists Syria as unsupported: no accounts, no storefront access and no shipping there. That is why we make no promise to build a store. The first step with us is checking which platform is possible and how ads could be paid for, and then we tell you whether we have suitable work to offer.

What we check before any agreement

  • Sales platform: Shopify is out while its page lists Syria. The page is undated and US restrictions have changed, so we re-read it at the time of the check.
  • Ad account payment: is there an acceptable, lawful payment method for your business? We do not use workarounds, and we do not promise ad-account access.
  • Ad targeting: Meta reportedly opened Syria targeting in October 2025, with no official statement that we found, and Snapchat does not show Syria on its targetable list. We verify inside the ad manager.
  • Who the business is: we review ownership and payer. We do not work with sanctioned entities.

The rules changed but did not disappear

The comprehensive US sanctions program ended and the Caesar Act was repealed in December 2025, while terrorism-sponsor measures remain. This is context, not legal advice, and payment firms or ad platforms may apply their own policies.

What we know about the market

  • The new Syrian pound was redenominated in January 2026 at 100 old to 1 new, so prices need a format customers cannot misread
  • The economy is still largely offline and cash-based
  • The central bank allowed Visa and Mastercard dealings in May 2026; Sham Cash, Syriatel Cash and MTN Cash appear through a third-party plugin with manual QR confirmation
  • Published data is thin: 9.25M internet users with no Meta figures, so we do not plan on unreliable audience sizes

Fees after the check

A fixed monthly fee plus a percentage of sales, set after reviewing margin and ad spend. Our published Gulf pricing starts at about USD 600 a month plus 1–3%, separate from the ad budget itself.

Limits of this page

Result figures on this page come from accounts we actually run in the Gulf and Egypt, labelled with their real location. We have no client or case study in Syria yet, so they do not indicate an expected result there.

Market figures come from published sources, and platform audience numbers are ad reach, not active users. Brand names are withheld under NDA unless published with the owner's approval.

FAQ

Can you build me a Shopify store in Syria?

We make no such promise. Shopify's page says no accounts, storefront access or shipping for Syria, and we do not use ways around that.

Can I advertise on Meta from Syria?

There is no general answer. Targeting has reportedly opened, but we found no official statement, and payment is a separate matter. We check your case and do not guarantee ad-account access.

My business is registered outside Syria. Does that change things?

Some options may differ, but Shopify still does not ship to Syria per its page. We review registration, target market and payer before any plan.

Do you have results in Damascus or Aleppo?

No. Our results are from the Gulf and Egypt only, and we do not present them as evidence for Syria.

Have a store that sells and want it to grow?

We look at your numbers together and tell you where money is leaking and where the nearest growth opportunity is — as a report you can act on yourself.
